i' using XOOPS 2.0.15 and i can't find a chat (the only one is shoutbox, but is a little too simple).

Xoopschat doesn't work! Could you suggest me a chat compatible with this XOOPS installation ?

Could be useful if i upgrade to 2.0.16 ? thanks

There are more options if you have a budget for server chats, rather than the push and pull database intensive ones?

You could also try Tufat Flash chat, I used to use it, as with all the chats like this it's good for upto about 20 chatters depending on your server spec, but then after that it can slow the site down.

Personally I have a dedicated server running a chat application which I then created a simple client interface for to work with XOOPS permissions, and appears as a module.

123FlashChat also offer an option if you buy their software, they offer an XOOPS plugin to work with the database. I've never tried them though, personaly I wasn't too keen on their interface of it's speed when I looked into them about 2 years ago, however much may of changed since then.
