hi, i love the work that the people have done with xoops, but i miss a wrily good template and a CHAT, hope i cold get some help here ?

You are asking for several different things here - templates (a theme??) and a module (chat). Lets focus on themes since that is what i think you are asking about- there are a lot of theme developers out there making new themes - all you need to do is search for themes on this site or XOOPS themes on google and you will have plenty to pick from. Look at the signatures in threads here too - the theme developers often have links to their sites where you can check out their themes.

For chat that will be a more difficult search - but same things - search is your best tool to find what you might like.

what do you want exactly from a "CHAT" module?

for a good short message i suggest you "shoutbox"
currently the stable version is 3.2 but there is also a 4 beta that i can recommend it too.

jensclas is right, the best thing to do is to use the search.

There are alot of theme designers out there some will advertize in there sig, of the links on the bottom of the themes. some you can only find by there work and word of mouth. ( like myself )

What do you mean by ( wrily good template )
Im taking that as ( a realy goood theme )

sence XOOPS Templates are designed for sections of the CMS.
and the Theme is the overall look.

there are cerrently around 400+ themes in the Xooops Theme DB.
but you can have a custom theme or a theme ported to XOOPS by almost any designer/coder.
