I have now downloaded module NEWS, i have write a news and try to get it on my first page, but i dont make it

What should i do?

I have try does blocks but i cant get it on first page.. see here : http://sindree.hotserv.dk/xoops-2.0.16/htdocs/

do you set permissions for news globally and also in the news module itself?

Did you set the News module as the start page for your website? (You can do this in administration => preferences => general).
