Hello -

Xoops: 2.0.15 - 2.0.16
cbb: 3.05 - 3.06 - 3.07
php: 4.3.11
mysql: 4.0

The problem that I am having on my site (www.snotling.org) is that when users goto post they get logged out. It can happen many times is a row, or it can wait several posts before it times out.

I have changed the "Session expiration" to 1440 and it still does it (I did change Use "custom session" to yes). Anyone else see this kind of problem? It happens most when a user clicks on the reply button. the Quick Reply seems to work most of them time for me.

Any ideas on how to fix this would be most grateful.

I'm having the same problem since a few weeks. After login everything works fine, but suddenly I'm logged out. Mostly happens when trying to post, reply, edit the forum, but also in other modules. Just browsing a few pages and I can simulate the problem.

also using a custom Session name and session expiration is set to 300

It seems u guys didn't get any reply?
I'm facing the same problem due to my carelessness,
I set it to 0 and I'm doomed! I can't even
post anything in the forum - VALID TOKEN EXPIRED.

Anyone, pls help....u can msg me, email me.

I solved my problem by comparing serveral backups of my website in SVN. First I couldn't find the cause of this strange behaviour.

After a while I restored a version from before the problem started. Then I upgraded sequentialy and tested every change I had made to the code.

Strange but true, the problem were the google adds on my newbb module.

After I removed the google adds from the forum the sessions don't get broken anymore.

The prefix on my table was XOOPS_config
IF you need more information, just ask!

AFTER selecting BROWSE you will look down the selections offered until you come to session_expire then select edit and continue to next screen where you may edit the config_value text to 15 from 0
