hi there
i have started to use the tinycontent module for the content to be shown on my front page. basically i have wrapped a webpage into tinycontent for the said purpose.

After setting "tinyconent" on the main page eveything is working fine but the url which is displayed in the address bar annoys me. i want members who visit the site to have the same url that they type and not the wierdo modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=7 extention

kindly tell me what i can do to fix this

You could add that content in a block for the front page instead...
or could use ht.accesss re-write...to miss the part you don't want from the url...second person today on short url..there is wealth of information on XOOPS tips in concern of shortening url's also...

run a search on tiny url's - that should get you started.
