i want to use e-mail field,not the member name for the login.how can i do ?

simple. you can't, at the moment. Nor is this planned in the near future.

It seems that this can be done using the AutoLogin hack from PEAK XOOPS.

From the autologin.txt file included in the download:

This hack also modifies your XOOPS can be logged in by email. Users can login not only uname+password but also email+password.

Note that this hack modifies XOOPS core files.

I stand corrected

Please note that this hack prevents proper migration to newer versions of the XOOPS core (as with any hack), unless you know what you are doing (as with any code changes).
