Hello,

Downloaded TinyEditor 1.00 and the patch for News 1.44 from dev.xoops.org.

Now I can choose Tiny editor in News settings, but when I want to update the database I get a blank News admin screen, so I can't confirm anything. Same goed when I try to update the module.

I'm running:
-XOOPS 2.0.15 + new form.php + editors and Frameworks (latest versions)
-smartfaq 1.04
-news 1.44
-multimenu 1.82
-newbb 1.12 (3.07 won't run till now)
-liaise 1.26
-wf-section 2.06
-wf-links 1.03b
-piCal 0.89
-wf-channel 1.07
-xc gal 2.03

Server:
-Apache 1.3.34
-PHP 4.4.0
-MySQL 4.0.15

Think I'm gonna put back my backup, and keep my hands of wysiwyg for a few weeks. Gives me nothing but trouble.

Does someone have clue what I did wrong?

Thx in advance & greetings,

Yeh same happened to me, wouldn't give up on wysiwyg, just Tiny....

Koivi labeled wysiwyg using the version that was with Newbb functions and is easiest to use...it goes out side the class/xoopseditors folder....to work with no changes for news, wiwimod and some of the older modules before framework...

The problem with Tiny I had was user permissions, as in it is meant for admin and registererd users...koivi doesn't need this...

Unsure on fixes with Tiny, other then maybe placing if all was showing and it wouldn't submit, the place was wrong as it didn't return to the right place....

Did get it to submit, yet just not for guests also, think that was outside of xoopseditor folder also...

I stick with the default editor, like in this forum, for a while.....
(Understand why XOOPS.org uses it )

Xoops.org is still using its older editor out of safty and not being updated....
You see since 2.2 comes with Xoopseditors installed as default...it won't be long before hopefully we can colour code and post in CBB on here; as that is just Newbb3/4 this is Newbb2 we are using...so it is merely a matter of time hopefully...
