I'm looking for a module that sounds pretty easy. I thought maybe someone could recommend one to me.

I have an area on my current site called "Where Are You?"

It's a list of countries, with their flags, and underneath is a list of cities in each country. This represents where my subscribers are.

Right now it's hard coded html, using tables. I just add a table row and table data when I add a new city or country.

I would like to do the same thing with XOOPS when my new site goes live.

So, does anyone know of a module that might do this? Something easy? Maybe a current module is available that I can change the text on?

One record per country, also showing the country flag in the title, and I can just add the cities in the text box when I need to?

To see what I am doing now you can go to http://www.franksrecipes.com/where.html

Thanks
Frank

Do you mean something like GuestMap You can swap the PNG background image for your needs also and faces for flags?

No. Nothing like guestmap. A plain list, like what's on my site now.

Frank

This can be done by tying into the XOOPS user profile data, which will require a hack to include the country of the subscriber if you intend using the 2.0.x branch or just a new admin defineable field if using the 2.2.x XOOPS branch. Using the XBS Code Data Management module to store the flag information (it has country information by default) a relatively simple module could be built to do what you want. PM me if you want to discuss it further.

Hi

Thanks for the offer, but that won;t do what I want. I get that information from my statcounter, not from registered users.

Thanks anyway
Frank
