how to install themes?

I'm new to xoops, and I'm testing it out. I can't figure out how to install new themes. I've uploaded new themes to the "themes" directory, but where do I select the theme I want to use? Admin section has no "theme" area.

I couldn't find anything in the faq on installing theme, but then again xoops.org is a somewhat confusing site, and the search function doesn't pull up anything on installing themes.

It is in the FAQs and you can probably find something on the documentation site as well. You may not have scrolled down far enough in the FAQ. Here is the link. If you still have problems post back.
