I am looking for a main content module. You know like on your front page you have the latest news of the site. No i dont want a news script with catagories etc.

Almost like a blog type deal. Where you post updates/news that go directly to the front page, no hassle with catagories. Just a front page news module.

To give you sort of an idea, think of it as creating a CuteNews module for XOOPS. I am assuming that the center block creator is used for this but that doesnt really seem right for me.

Well, I use the News module that comes with Xoops. It presents the most recent news simply at the top of the block, followed by headlines for previous news. You simply post a new news item and it appears on the front page.

I use categories but you only need to have one if you want, so all news will default to it.
