Today i installed the latest wfdownloads in my site, imported all the mydownload 1.1 data without problems, however i can´t see the files and categorys because i can´t configure the proper permissions.

When i click in permissions in my admin panel i only get a "The page cannot be displayed" message in internet explorer and if i use mozilla i only get a blank page.

Of course the phpdebug not work too, because the browser not display the permission page.
I already tried re-upload all the files and make the conversion again, but still the same thing.

So i tried to make the whole thing in local mode in my own computer and not in the live server as before.

I reproduced the error in local mode in the following way:

1-I installed wfdonwloads, i check if the permissions works and all work fine but of course not categorys or files created yet.

2-I imported all the data from mydownloads,
check if the permission.php works, not WORK anymore.

I think is something related with the import process, since the error happen after the import process.

I already asked in smartfactory without positive results

Any ideas?

Do you have the folder directories CHMOD correctly?

Change and verify folder permissions
CHMOD the following folders to 777:

wfdownloads/images
wfdownloads/images/category
wfdownloads/images/category/thumbs
wfdownloads/images/screenshots
wfdownloads/images/screenshots/thumbs

** Also make sure that the {xoops-rootdirectory}/uploads folder is set to 777. **

Start the Import
Go into the WF-Downloads admin area. At the top you will find a link Import data. Click on this one and you can choose to import your mydownloads data.

** Once you did so go into the permissions tab to set the permissions for the imported categories.

** Until you changed the category permissions you will not be able to see the imported categories/files. **

Additionally i can say is not a chmod problem, is not a configuration problem, and is not a server configuration problem too.
