WF-Downloads: Downloads don't start within 3 seconds?

I've recently upgraded to WF-Downloads 3.1 final and its working great except that downloads don't start automatically:

Download in Progress
Your download should start in 3 seconds...please wait.

If your download does not start, Click here!.


Visitors are forced to manually click on the link to get their download. Anyone else have this problem / know how to fix it?

My target audience is seriously computer illiterate, and even little things like this can substantially impact utilisation of our website.

Seems to occur in both IE and Firefox. A sample page from my site can be found here.

This was a problem in 2.05 but i haven´t heard any complaints regarding this for a long time. (and sincerely hoped this issue was resolved)

So i second the question: Anyone else got this?

Madfish can you give the full versions info?
(the usual stuff ... i know you know what i mean )
