How do I write something on the main page?

Hello

I looked at the FAQ for hours and couldn't find anything

I want to change the main page, such as write things inside, how do I do that?

And I wanted to change some buttons in my theme so I changed the theme.html but it didn't change anything, why?

This should help you understand adding custom content to your pages:

Basically, you want to go into your Block Administration and create a custom block. How you go about doing it depends on what version of XOOPS you're using.

To see changes in your theme.html, go into Preferences-->System-->General Settings and make sure that the option to update theme.html is set to YES. It's about the 10th option down.
