i mentioned this when i using xlanguage in my running site.

You may try autors site ...

But are you shure it is MySQL? I had some problems with old PHP (not shure about version) ...
..

if you have long text between language tags like [en]...very long text...[/en], it would be a known issue of PCRE package for PHP

No its not a long text.
as i siad it just occure in news module and just in title.

in the content i have not this problem but when i add tags to title i get a 500 error.

also i have error only in persian but in english the news title is mess up.
phppp i pm you and provide you a link.

after upgrade MySQL to 4.1.19 still have this probelm
php 4.4.2
xoops 2.2.4
xlanguage 3.0
news 1.44

phppp, finally after some more test in local i see you'r right and its because long text.

but that long text is very short!

it just accept about 200- 300 characters ( not words!) in home stroy of news.

there is no problem in title or body text. i put long text in body text and it works fine.
so im sure that its a problem in news module.

another important thing:
i have this problem only with news 1.44
news 1.1 works fine
anyone can reproduce it?
