I recently downgraded from 2.2.4 to 2.0.13.2. Since that downgrade, when registering, users have not been able to enter data into the username field. The cursor blinks as it should in the field, other fields allow data entry, but not the username field?

Any ideas what might be the issue? Here's the link for anyone interested: link

hi chappy :)

looks like the max length of username is 0.

check in the admin user settings and see if the username length is defined.. change it and hit submit, to make sure the data is sent to the db.. worth a try..

failing that, try copying register.php from the XOOPS 2.0.13.2 full package to the XOOPS folder and see if that works.

That was the problem. For whatever reason I forgot that setting was even in the system admin (or perhaps never knew it...).

I appreciate your help greatly.

I have the same problem but do not see where you correct the length of the username...can you be more specific for me?
