after an exstensive search I would like to ask you a question.
Is it possible to define keywords in a news article and when someone clicks on them he/she is directed to all the links on the website with that keyword

thanks for you energy!

Re: search and keywords

I think it would be quite easy to add it to any news/articles module. I think the easiest would be to replace the matched keywords with the output of the article field right before it is assigned to the template. Each link should lead to the search page in XOOPS, with the keywords for $_GET variable q.

Re: search and keywords

Well...it does require some coding skills indeed . I think you will need someone to develop it for you if you really require this hack. Creating this hacked module will also mean that whenever a new release of the official module comes out, you will need to make sure that you do not overwrite your 'hacked' files or that you put your hack into the newer release as well.

I wish I could help you with this but I am extremely busy at the moment.

Best regards/Groetjes

Re: search and keywords

For example, when I want to search for Emma Netherlands on the xoops.org website I end up at:

https://xoops.org/search.php?query=emma+Netherlands...

So all you need is to construct a similar link with the <a href> tag referring to the search.php page with the query and the necessary variable and place it around the keywords.
