I have read all posts and threads I can find on this Forum regarding firewall problems. The threads seem to have got confused and disjointed.

Is there a definitive checklist of solving Firewall problems?

My problem is that I can make changes in my admin control panel when my firewall is switched off but not when it is enabled.

I don't really want to ask my users to change their firewall settings.

I am running on XOOPS 2.0.13.2

This FAQ is liklely the most difinitive we have right now. The comments on it cover more common programs. Unfortinately your users will need to add your site to trusted sites lists...seem to be a fairly common thing these days for many sites.
