I would like to know if anyone has done it or know if it is possible to farm out multiple XOOPS servers behind load balancers like Linux Ultra Monkey or a commercial brand. Basically, I would like to know if XOOPS could handle 100K to a million user connections for both update, write and read?

So far I know XOOPS could be two machines scenario: XOOPS server, MySQL server. Could I scale to multiple XOOPS servers with multiple MySQL servers with load balancers and caching engines for a single domain or site?

I am trying to find out if XOOPS could handle the load like Mediawiki in server farm deployment. Any feedback, thought, recommendation or know how from past experience with Xoops, I am greatly appreciated.

I'm unfamiliar with any XOOPS site at that scale and how load balancing would work with xoops, however there are quite a few network admins and system experts using xoops.
Hopefully my bump will catch their attention since I'm also curious regarding how to handle such a huge load.

I also have been keeping eyes on this issue.
As far as I learn, there hasn't been any such application for XOOPS reported yet.
