I've been using mambo for a while and have been doing excellently with that, but I'm always looking for something that may be better.

So I'm checking out xoops, but I can't seem to find anywhere that just says 'click to add content to your site'

It's probably right in front of my face and completely obvious, but meh, you know :P

Adding content to XOOPS:
It really depends on what content do you have in mind, but either is news articles or web links directory , download items or a forum, in the end comes to one thing:

So just browse the "Module Repository" on this site and locate the apropriate module to do the job.
If you have the latest RECOMENDED version of XOOPS which is 2.0.13.2 than you're all set as it includes a variety of modules, all you have to do is login as an administrator and go to admin side of your XOOPS site and install whatever you need
