xoops blank page problem.....

whatever i change for default Module for your start page in General Settings i see only blank page...now i have default module myalbum and still dont work and i see only this..Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class newsstory in public_html/hr/modules/news/class/class.newsstory.php on line 35

than i uninstall news module and i see the same mess....

Okay.

What version of XOOPS is it?

Are all the modules the latest stable versions - particularly the news module?

You mentioned that your site was hacked in another post. Have you been able to make sure you got rid of anything that doesn't belong in your folders?

Do you have a backup?

Have you tried re-installing the modules or upgrading them in Module Administration?

I have XOOPS 2.0.13.1 and all the modules are stable and news version is 1.44 ,my start page now is guest book and still the same error

I dont have back up...

What happens if you de-activate but don't un-install the News module?

You also need to find out what's on line 35 that's causing the SNAFU.

it happens nothing when i uninstall news module..allways the same problem with default module page...whatever i put for my default page...i see only blank page..hmm

Tell me where can i find line 35?

Open your modules/news/class/class.newsstory.php file and look for line 35. It will usually be after line 34, but before line 36.

Yes,i was re-install news wright now and still the same problem....
