That site is using xcGallery. You can do a search for the latest version.

is the xc gallery also responsible for the random image block im interested in? my biggest XOOPS site complaint is not having a list of features for the module descriptions.

Yes, although there are other photo album modules that will generate a random photo block.

I have installed modules only to find that they were nothing like what I expected. Good descriptions are essential.

I am using the My Album module and I have a randome photo on the homepage for registered users if you would like to see how it works you can see it at Phils Bearcat Land Username Demo Password xoops.
