I have a problem with the auto page load feature, it does not reload on any members computers and neither on mine. Is there anything this could be?
Is there any easy way to remove the page that says:

Also, while i'm posting, is there any way to have an option to be able to remember the user, i.e. so they get logged in automatically. Some forums and sites have a remember me feature, I think it sets a cookie.

Have you run your php debug?
Do a search on autologin hack and you will find answers to that on a number of places - but check this against the XOOPS version you are using.
If you still need help please indicate xoops, php, my sql, apache etc versions....(read b4 you post message)
