Hi,

just after XOOPS installation, i've got a series of "Module File for ... Not Found!" messages in the Modules table, in the Administration module.
I checked the modules/ directory of the XOOPS base directory, and realized that there is no 'file' dir.
Should it be there? Is it a bug? or i am to install any other modules to make XOOPS working properly?

can anybody answer me?

regards
Jachu

It appears your installation did not go well. The module directory should be present in your root directory. Check the downloaded zip or tar file for the XOOPS version you tried to install. Look in its html folder to see if the module directory is there as part of the package.
If it is you could try uploading the module folder to your root then go to your site and log in again. Then go to your administration/system/modules and see if they are there and can be installed.
You may have to delete the database that was created at install and then all the XOOPS files from your root and try a fresh install if the above doesn't work.
