Hey everyone,

I'm having a problem with extended profiles: Only the administrator/webmaster can view other user profiles. I have all the permissions setup under both Admin > Modules > Extended Profiles > Permissions and Admin > Users > Groups. When I log in as a non admin/webmaster user and try to click someones name on the forum, I get a "You do not have permission to access..." message.

Any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks!

How about Admin > Preferences > Extended Profiles > General Settings. At the bottom, the last setting is "Allow to view account" with the 3 choices to the right. Make sure that it's not set to just Webmasters.

"Individual fields can be set visible or invisible to users in fields administration,
but if you want to allow access to other users' accounts for certain groups only,
while still allowing anonymous users to register,
select the groups here."

You are the man.

I love XOOPS but one thing I can't stand is how permissions are everywhere!!! ;) I wish permissions were all centralized in one location.

I am also having the same problem getting the program to accept registering. I have checked what you stated here but it still will not accept registering.

I don't see the option for fields....

Where is it located?

ThCraftman, The user fields can be found by going to Modules > Extended Profiles > Permissions
