Hello all,

Using XOOPS 2.2.3

I've been messing with this #OOPS# registration form for hours now. All I want to do is create a new field and have the text field be much shorter than the default 35.

I also simply want to change the text from Displayname to Real Name. Is there some way I can do this?

Here's a screenshot if the above was not clear... The activation field needs to be able to accept a four-digit number and thats all (it looks funny having the field that huge)

Anyone at least know how to rename Displayname to Real Name?

Sorry, but I haven't tinkered with 2.2.3 in a while. If there wasn't an option to set the field length when you created the feild,then you may want to try editing the templates.

Thanks James, I'm not sure which template I would edit on the profile module though... not all that familiar with Xoops.

I've seen the displayname and realname question here, but it seems the solution there is to simply add a required real name field and leave the display name as is.. but maybe I'm misunderstanding that?

It would be in the language files of the module me thinks.
