I see a lot of versions of chat's and shoutboxes so I don't know what to install. please help!

I just started using this shoutbox and it works good so far:

https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=97&lid=1436

As far as chat modules go, I haven't worked with any of them, but I hear this one works ok:

https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=8&lid=1295

Make sure to check the authors' sites to make sure that they are the latest functional versions.
