Can't log-in to forum (Xoops / X-IPB)

I'v using XOOPS 2.0 and can't log-into the forum as an admin.

The forum is working fine, though and I've had it up for months. Just can't log-in as Admin.

Is there a fix for this?

I'm using your original version. Haven't upgraded yet.

is this the blackunion.net site you are talking about? looks like you did a clean wipe of it... The fresh install should do it. Also be sure to get rid of that install folder after you do.

change mgroup to 3 in xoops_users table for your userid in mysql..

bbpixel.com would have been better to ask on.. theres numerous posts saying how to do it..

There's nothing in membergroupids.

Is that where I put 3?

If the above is correct, I did it and still can't get in.

But what was I suppose to use to log-in anyway after putting 3 there?

This does not work.

I finally figured out how to do it and the 3 was already in xoops_users table for my userid.

Well, this didn't work because 3 was already in xoops_users table.

I've also searched his site for the solution and found nothing helpful.

Finally, I deleted the module and installed a fresh copy losing all my posts and registered users and still when I tried to log-in, no good.

This is the kind of thing that gives XOOPS a bad name.

I await your help.

Opening more threads will not get this answered faster so instead just ´bump´ this thread please. Also i changed the subject of the initial posting slightly.
