Changing fields language for user registration

Hi,
i need to translate a little the registration page of my site. The standards fields are ok, but, i would like to translate the fields "username". More, I would like to customize the confermation email changing it in my own language. I have no idea of the exact files i have to change, somebody can help me? Thanks

in root of your instalation, there is "language" folder with some sub folders for each language. Each language sub folder has another sub folder called "mail_template".
Also in modules, under each module you will find language folder for that module with the coresponding subfolders for each language.

There are many translations of xoops, so better search for one in your language.
