I want that my users can use a signature.

Xoops 2.2.3
CBB 2.3.1

Me and my users have set up a signature in the profiles - i activate the automatic signature show in module user profiles - i activated the button when i post something but no chance - no signature will be shown.

I tryed to install newbb over the cbb just 4 a test - signature is shown - i cange back to cbb - no signature - some1 with the same problem?!

its a user definable setting, if you go to your extended profiles preferences, and allow users to choose whether to "always show signature" then they would go int their profiles and select this option. at that point their sigs should show.

I wrote that i activate that settings.

And i wrote also when i update cbb to newbb all is shown as i wish - when i update back to cbb from newbb - no signature

I cant use newbb because then i can forget my forum because it looks like there are small diferences in the mysql.

ok, but did you go into your profile an select "always attach my signature"

also, when setting up your forums there was an option to "allow signatures" go back and edit any forums and see if this option is set to yes

I wrote the problem is only with CBB - with newbb all is ok (but i cant use it).

Check the settings for that particular forum.

Admin. menu >> Modules >> Forum >> Forums >> edit the particular forum you are posting in >> set 'Yes' to 'Allow Signatures'

1. Go to Extended User/Permisson
2. Set <always attach my signature> <visible>+<editable> for registered users.
