Myself and alot of members on my site have noticed that when we attempt to post, everynow and then after clicking the Submit button we get the below appearing at the top of the screen and it does not add the post..

Invalid submission. You could have exceeded session time. Please re-submit or make a backup of your post and login to resubmit if necessary.

I have looked through the XOOPS Site for a solution and found "setting the repost to 0" should work. I have tried this and it is still continuing (if that is in the forum preferences)

Can anyone help as some people are not posting anymore due to this error.

Have you tried increasing the session time in system prefs?
Are you using GIJOES Autologin hack? As there are other posts on the forum regarding a session issue with the hack.

Ill look into the session time now.

As for the Auto Hack login.. I was using that but reverted back to what it was before, as I backed up before installing the hack

Session expiration is at 60

But my Use Custom Session is set to no, therefore I didnt think that would affect it.

Really need this sorting

Maybe sumthing got left behind?

The default session is 15 min (I think), so you would need to turn on custom sessions to overide it.

I'm really looking for someone to help me out with this, as members are now getting seriously frustrated with not being able to post. I have redone from the backup and still get the same error (which is above)

Anyone else out there willing to help me
