I've volunteered (not yet accepted) to help with a website for a High School reunion a couple of years away. Is there a module in XOOPS that might work for this type of meeting?

I figure that forums and news would work well, and I could install a photo gallery, but I'm looking to see if something could handler the actual registration for the reunion, and for events.

I'm going to be doing the same thing on a reunion site for a friend. They haven't provided the information for the form yet, so I haven't started on it, but intend to use either the Liase or Formulaire modules found on this page:

That seems to be less than what I was thinking of. I'm fancying that I could so people could see who was at school in what year (this is a 50th anniversary), and select events to go to.

So maybe some enhanced user groups, and an event calendar with bookings (a shopping cart might amost work for that). (But then I don't know what the committee will want)

There is also an alumni module

One suggestion would be to do a search on this site for terms like "high school," "alumni," "reunion," etc. to see what suggestions others may have and to take a peek at similarly-themed sites to see how they worked out their registrations, etc.

Now those look like possibilities. I'll pull them down and set up a test site to play with.
