Is it possible to play an MP3 the first time someone visits my XOOPS website? If so, can someone supply some code to do so? I'm more of a user than a coder.

now... I dunno how to set it so that it only plays once and never again. But.. I did setup a small block that appeared on my main page that was set 'accessible only to anonymous' users that would play a media file. This media file would play every time someone who wasn't logged in viewed my main page. Once someone logs in (registers and logs in) it wouldn't be visible to them cuz they would no longer be 'anonymous'

I just made a small block, weighted 100 side-left, named it like 'sound byte' and inserted this code

<EMBED ID="WindowsMediaPlayer1" SRC="http://www.mydomain.com/greet.mp3" BORDER=0>

be sure to change mydomain.com to your domain name and greet.mp3 to your file name, and just upload the mp3 file to your root (Main) directory where you've uploaded xoops.
