Can anyone tell me what is the different between Article and News modules

I found they are both show the an artical things, and you can print and email to friend. Also, they both can set category.

Anyone can help. Thanks.

The News module has RSS output and utilizised meta tags and meta descriptions. Also, I'm not sure if any of XOOPS's sydication modules registers the Article module when feeds are created. i.e. RSSFit and XP Syndication. There are probably a host of other differences, but those are the ones that come to mind first.

You should check out the Spotlight-feature in AMS, that made me change from News to AMS
