Hi! I am trying to install the xc gallery so my users can upload pictures. I have downloaded it and uploaded the file to my public_html file in the control panel. I still can't see it in my Admin/Modules menu though. Can anyone help me with the installation process for this? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

To install a module you have to copy the module underneath the <xoops directory>/modules directory.

for example <xoops directory>/modules/xcgallery

Once you do this you will see the module listed in the administration screen for modules within xoops.

Thanks! I got that done and tried to install it from the Modules Admin menu. I got the following error: 'xoops_xcgal_albums' already exists Unable to install xcgal

Any ideas how to fix or override this error? Thanks again!
