Hi guys,,,

I have one question... I have created a new database fpr XOOPS 2.3.3 and i want to move the registered users from the old database to the new databse.

I have over 5,500 registered users ans i dont want to loose them.

Which key tables in the old database should I move the new database so that i cab i have my registered users log into the new site?

Thanks.

Abbey, the best way is to move your whole 2.0.x db to the new db, and then run the 2.2.3 installer/updater. This will transform the old tables into the new structure (this has changed, so you can't just copy them).

i tried that but by moving the whole old database to the new database. Then i tried to install XOOPS 2.3.3 to that new database but when you get to stage where it creates tables it gives you an error ... that the tables already exist in the database.

what shd i do?
