updating a file??

How do i update only 1 file in a module??? Like for example the menu file in the admin folder.

I dont want to update the whole module coz then it stuffs everything up!

Is it possible just to update only 1 file?

Just edit the file how you want it with some text editor and upload/overwrite it via FTP.

This will only work if the file does not need to be loaded in the database to function (as in a template file). Updating the module loads these files into the database for usage.

Edit.

One more question, is there a way to edit the look of the administration of the site???

Is there a template file or something?
