I have a couple of problems after installing IPB1.4e.

Firstly is that after installing XOOPS 2.2, it doesn't load the forum in the same window, it loads up in a new one. How can I fix this?

Secondly is I cant log on, it just takes me to the extended profile section instead.

the short answer is, they don't work together.. x-ipb has always been version specific. in essence when you update xoops, u have to update x-ipb too.. if there isnt an update available for x-ipb then don't update xoops.

x-ipb 1.4I is latest stable version and is for XOOPS 2.0.13.1

x-ipb 1.5 is for XOOPS 2.2 but neither XOOPS 2.2 or x-ipb are considered stable enough for production site use.. and x-ipb 1.5 does have issues at the moment.

another thing, when you upgrade, always test your upgrades 1st on a test site.. never upgrade your live website until you are sure everything will work on it..
