Hi there.

I have just had a post telling me that a user was unable to see any of the buttons on the forum whilst accessing the page from a Library.

He was using Internet Explorer so I guess it might have been a problem with IE and PNG images.

I know I can use .gif images instead but they seem to look rubbish compared to the .png

I know I need to way up the advantages etc, but to be honest I would rather just dump the images and have text links.

Can anyone tell me how to use Text Links rather than Images for the following buttons in Newbb2:

At Forum Level:
New Poll: t_poll-a.png
New Topic: t_new-a.png

At Thread Level:
New Poll: t_poll-a.png
Reply Post: t_reply-a.png
New Topic: t_new-a.png

Edit: p_edit-a.png
Delete: p_delete-a.png
Reply: p_reply-a.png

For now, I have just changed the forum preferences to auto for the image choice, and I hope that it fixes the problem, I guess that most people will get .png images but IE would get the .gif images if it can't display .png's?

Anyway if anyone can help me out here or tell me where those images are called, that would be great.

PS: have looked at a couple of the templates for newbb, can't see a reference to any of the image names.
