Error [Xoops]: Unable to connect to database in file class/database/databasefactory.php line 34

How do i fix this?

Next time, please use the search and FAQ sections of this website, as this is a very common issue.

This error is shown when the system is unable to connect to the database (server), most often due to the database server being down. Contact your hosting provider about the status of their database services.
