Ive installed the X-phpbb module like it says in the readme.
Now ive got these errors:

Warning: main(/usr/export/www/vhosts/funnetwork/hosting/blabla/nieuws/class/errorhandler.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/export/www/vhosts/funnetwork/hosting/blabla/nieuws/include/common.php on line 52

Warning: main(): Failed opening '/usr/export/www/vhosts/funnetwork/hosting/blabla/nieuws/class/errorhandler.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:') in /usr/export/www/vhosts/funnetwork/hosting/blabla/nieuws/include/common.php on line 52

Fatal error: Undefined class name 'xoopserrorhandler' in /usr/export/www/vhosts/funnetwork/hosting/blabla/nieuws/include/common.php on line 53

please find out properly..

i dunno if u mean XOOPS 1.3 (really really old)

or XOOPS 2.0.13 etc.

you can find out by opening include/version.php

but either way, it does say in the readme file for x-phpbb that it's for XOOPS 2.0.9.2/3 and it won't work on any other version. i am not aware of any update for it to make it work for newer versions.

1 Allright, sow when i install 2.0.9.2, it works?
2 And can you update phpbb from 2.0.11 too 2.0.17
3 And are there bad things about 2.0.9.2 ? Because its an older version?

u can, but it isn't recommended as it would be a security risk in older versions.

also i'd like to point out, that the x-phpbb module is based on phpbb 2.0.111 which is also a huge security risk aswell, even if you use the latest stable XOOPS and then install x-phpbb it's a risk because the actual phpbb forum software is insecure.

i think this was 1 of the many reasons that led to the x-phpbb module not being maintained as much.. there's just too many updates with phpbb to contend with and too many security issues.. as soon as the module is updated.. a week later there's a new fix released etc and the whole process then needs to be redone.

you're better off using the x-ipb 1.4 module if using XOOPS 2.0.13.1 and u don't want to use XOOPS cbb forum or newbb. it's the only other forum that is maintained and supported..

Rather a shame... I am also an admin on a stand alone phpbb based site... and I'm moving my client away from this as soon as possible due to recent security issues with the forum...
