Hello everyone,

... And I thought the update to 2.2.3 was a breeze, but not until I tried to login to my account just a few seconds ago. I get this error.
Any ideas what might be the problem and how it can be solved?

Fatal error: getauthconnection(): Failed opening required 'C:/Domains/ebusiness-starter.com/wwwroot/class/auth/auth_nl2br.php' (include_path='.;c:\php4\pear') in C:\Domains\ebusiness-starter.com\wwwroot\class\auth\authfactory.php on line 33
Warning [PHP]: getauthconnection(C:/Domains/ebusiness-starter.com/wwwroot/class/auth/auth_nl2br.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in file C:\Domains\ebusiness-starter.com\wwwroot\class\auth\authfactory.php line 33

BTW I don't have such a file called auth_nl2br.php in the auth folder under the class, and I don't think I've ever had it before. This is the first time I'm getting this error, right after upgrade to 2.2.3

Where exactly can I find the solution?

This is what I did:

1) Backed-up the database on my local hard drive
2) copied the update patch files to the server
3) Ran xoopsupdate.php

That's it!

Am I missing something?

This is a great solution for those of you experiencing the same problem with the update patch:

1) Login through www.yourxoopsite.com/recovery.php
2) After that Open up your website in a new window and click on the Administration Menu link now present (because you have already logged in and are in an active session)
3) Add the 2 lines of code from phppp's fix: https://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=2533&com_mode=thread&com_order=0&com_id=21471&com_rootid=21453

Yes,

xoopsupdate.php is a PHP file located in the root of your XOOPS site.

You should be able to reach it through the following URL:

http://www.yourxoopsite.com/xoopsupdate.php

where "yourxoopsite" should be substituted with your website name.

BTW I've found another error just a few minutes ago which is that the 2.2.3 update makes My Tutorials module go wacky and all the layout and contents have mixed up.
