Where to find the install guide?

I have been trying to install XOOPS both on my hosts server and on my ocal machine (for development) ... wheere can i find the installation guide (all the links on the xoops.org site are dead). I am trying to install XSAS as well to work on my site locally and I would like to upgrade it to XOOPS 2.2.2 ... how do i do that?

thanks ... still a little confounded on the use of XSAS ... i want to upgrade the XOOPS install (xoops2) to XOOPS 2.2.2 ...

i'd rather do all the site design and dev locally and just upload it to my hosts server when it's done ... but alas i think i'll need more coffee and cigarettes to figure it out.

Sorry can't help you with that. No experience with XSAS.
I run my own server (FreeBSD), uploaded all the XOOPS stuff to my webserver root and do all the design and dev on my server.

The installation guide and a lot of other docs are temporarily being hosted here.

When I try to download there I get a page that says this:

"This file doesn't belong to the site you came from
