Hey everyone!

My name is elpedro, I currently run NGG (www.nextgengamer.co.uk) using PHP Nuke Platinum. I want to try out XOOPS and compare the two. First off, does XOOPS support an online arcade like PHP Nuke, using flash files (swf) and recording scores?

Also, is there a gallery, downloads and forum module avaliable?

Gallery: I use www.xoopsgallery.com - others may recommend other modules however

Yes, XOOPS conveniently will wrap around any SWF files.

Check out my sitehttp://angelsgrimoire.com for a good example of how java and flash both run inside Xoops.

Hi davidl2. Thanks for the tip about CBB. Everybody loves it but I haven't had a chance to check out the source yet.

There is also a nice marquee module available for XOOPS, as you seem to have a few running on your site.

It is indeed... we used to use the hacked IPB module (which can still be seen at:http://archive.wf-projects.com) but Bender replaced this with CBB
