I was wondering if anyone has created a basic graphic template for designing themes.

Here is what I'm looking for if I'm not being clear. I understand the code, and how to write the CSS file. What I have trouble with is sizing graphics such as the sides of a block if I want to do a graphical border, or doing a header that dips into the main content area a bit. I understand the code concepts, and how to slice images, but when I go to do a refrence layout in Paint Shop to GIMP it never translates well to a working theme because I made something too wide, or too small. So what I have been looking for is a PSD for a standard XOOPS design so I could use it as a refrence. Could anyone help me out? Or if you have any advice that might help, I'll take whatever I can get. Thanks.
