I haven't tried this, but don't see why it wouldn't work. Is there a reason you would not be able to simply add STYLE code to a blocks template? Something like?

STYLE="background-color: red; font-family: serif"

Just stick some dev tags at the start and end of the block, or wrap it in a table?

Is there a theme PSD template?

I was wondering if anyone has created a basic graphic template for designing themes.

Here is what I'm looking for if I'm not being clear. I understand the code, and how to write the CSS file. What I have trouble with is sizing graphics such as the sides of a block if I want to do a graphical border, or doing a header that dips into the main content area a bit. I understand the code concepts, and how to slice images, but when I go to do a refrence layout in Paint Shop to GIMP it never translates well to a working theme because I made something too wide, or too small. So what I have been looking for is a PSD for a standard XOOPS design so I could use it as a refrence. Could anyone help me out? Or if you have any advice that might help, I'll take whatever I can get. Thanks.

Hi everyone,

I am trying to test ArMS to see if it is the article module I want to use, but what are the Levels it uses? It won't let me put any test articles in until I add one, but what is it asking for exactly? The docs don't explain it. Thanks in advance.

The big diffrence between XOOPS and php-nuke? The later is huge. Both in download and in use. I also found it really cluncky and hard to admin. Great for huge sites, but there is a lot of extras you don't need getting in the way. I love how modular XOOPS is.

If you have 1.6 of Multimenu, what you want to do is go into the docs folder that was in the .zip when you downloaded the module. There is a text file there that explains how to write the menu links, and to use specal characters to tell the module if you want it to show the sub-menus or not.

Well first off what do you mean by "interior pages"? I don't think I've seen that term before. If you mean a static page such as an about us or Terms of Service type page that won't be changed a whole lot then yes. That would be a good module to use.

They give you that much space, but limit you on sub-domains? Doesn't sound totaly above board to me. I'd rather have and uptime grarentee then what is basicly unlimited space.

Thanks for the heads up karedokx. I'll be keeping an eye out for when that's done. Someone really should do a Fictionized or eFiction module convert to XOOPS if they can. Both Postnuke and phpNuke have something along those lines. I just don't know that much about the code to do something on that scale or I would.

That's at least good to know for future refrence. Thanks

Well the P3P header code works for Xoops. You can now log-in and navigate the site from wwww.morawski.us , but I don't want to think about the security holes I opened to someone who can minipulate session data. I'm basicly telling the server to let everything pass.

If I keep that setting as it is installed, then the site loads through www.morawski.us ok. Where the problem comes in is with the log-in script. It's the same problem I had with Mambo. It looks like you're logged in, but the session does not stay active once you click a link. As I said in my first post, with Mambo you can use either an htaccess file or header code to open a hole where the log-in info can get past the masking frame, but it's not a great solution. The Mambo fix was:

header( "P3P: CP=CAO DSP COR CURa ADMa DEVa OUR IND PHY ONL UNI COM NAV INT DEM PRE");

in the main index.php of the script. No I didn't figure this one. I found it in a search regarding domain masking a while ago.
