After running to security upgrade New users cannot be registered to the site and i can not add custom blocks again
please i need and urgent help

i have solved the problem i replaced the files i upgraded back with old files and everything seems to be working again

Well everything may be working again, but your site may still not be secure if it was a security update. Which upgrade did you attempt?

it was the new security hot fix hole on version 2.2 i discovered that i have but an older version and maybe that is why it did not work because i just overwrote the mysqldatabase.php inthe class folder. do i need any other security update

As long as your site is at least 2.0.13 you will be secure.

my site is 2.0.10 that that pose a security problem

Yes, it has an xmlrpc vulnerability. You should upgrade to 2.0.12a, then to 2.0.13.

This might not be the best place but is there any way I can create a block that can be viewed by all not just registered and webmasters?

Bearcat.. go into admin, go into groups, and set the block for unregistered users.
