How do I remove the posttonews icon in forums? (CBB 1.14)

How do I remove the posttonews icon in forums? I'm using CBB v1.14. I've been all over the forum prefs pages and can't find the option to deselect this. I'm getting old and going crazy.

Can anyone help? I see that the icon doesn't show up on these forums, just the print and create pdf icons do. That is what I'm looking to achieve.

Why? Its not shown for the normal registered users anyway ...

Otherwise you could comment it out in this file:

\newbb\viewpost.php


Comment out lines 260- 264 i guess.

00260: if ($isadmin) {
00261: $thread_action['news']['image'] = newbb_displayImage($forumImage['news'], _MD_POSTTONEWS);
00262: $thread_action['news']['link'] = "posttonews.php?topic_id=" . $post->getVar('topic_id');

I did not know that... I thought everyone could see it. Thank you! I just logged in as a regular user and had a look and it is now there.
