I just installed Xoop, my compliments for the easy installer. Thank you, being quite the know-no in php and *sql, etc. I am truly grateful for this :).

However, I would like to add sections, and that then they will be listed under the 'mainmenu' header. Also I'd like it very much if the news updates would appear on the frontpage. For now the links you see under the mainmenu header are only placed because of the modules I added.

What I have in mind is:

[Main Menu]
- home [where you can find the frontpage news]
- articles [a place where I and the fellow crew can post articles]
- books [books written by me and the crew, would quite function alike to the articles section which I have in mind)]

Can you clarify that question a little please friend.

Are you asking if the module named Sections can offer features you require?

OR are you asking how to create items for your main menu?

Sorry if the post is perfectly clear, perhaps I am a little tired as I can not understand what it is you are asking.

Perhaps if you re-word it, I will stop by again later today to see if I can be of some help.
