Look within the templates of this module. You'll see the code:
<p align='center'>
  <
a href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/mylinks/index.php"><img src="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/mylinks/images/logo.gif" alt="" /></a>
</
p>

Comment this piece of code in the templates out and your done.

Grtz., Shine

Thankyou for the prompt reply ... but as i mentioned earlier i have not only commented but even deleted these lines and still it doesnt let me do anything .... i noticed that when i tried deleting some of the files in the template_c it wouldnt let me infact when i rename the template_c directory to some other name and make a new template_c directory that is supposed to be blank .... the remote directory is automatically loaded with the files that are not accessible ....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA what do i dooooo...
