I would like a XFire module. I have been looking in the repositiry, and found nothing. We have MSN Messeger stuff... But I host a gaming site, and most of those users are on XFire.

If on exists, can someone provide a link to it? If one does not exist, can someone create it? Either way... Thanks.

Not sure what you would have in a XFire module.

I have also wanted to integrate XFire into a site. My plan is to wait for XOOPS v2.2. I believe it gives you the ability to customise the user profile - eg to include the user's XFire username.

I plan to use that info to display a compact miniprofile in their public profile and maybe in forum posts, too.

I am not too sure what it would take to get a mod like that going. I wanted to give my users a way to see friends playing and what servers they are on as well as chat capabilities. Anyway that was my idea. I am not a programmer, just a user...

If it is possible, please let me know.. I will be watching the forums for updates..
